  14. Well, it would appear that I've finally pushed my poor ol' A4000 just that
  15. little bit too much. It's working itself into such a bother that the SCSI
  16. controller on my Emplant is overheating.

  18. I've tried all I can, by moving my Cybervision64 card two Zorro slots above the
  19. Emplant, removed the spare backing plates above and below the Emplant, but the
  20. air just isn't cool enough.

  22. The only solution at present is to remove the top casing, and wave a magazine at
  23. the card when ever I access through the SCSI port.

  25. What I'm going to do is try and attach an extra fan to the side of the A4000
  26. casing, powered of a spare 3.5" power plug. Now my question is, can anyone
  27. recommend a fan to do the job.

  29. Ideally, the fan should be square, around 2 inches in length and no more than
  30. half an inch thick. The power must come from the spare internal disk drive
  31. power plugs.Something along the lines of the fan on my CyberStorm060 would do
  32. the job I think.

  34. If anyone can give me part numbers and supplier etc., you can have a virtual
  35. pint on me.

  42. Motherboard Revision B. Buster Chip v11.
  43. CyberStorm060/50 with 16Mb Fast Ram installed.
  44. CyberVision64 with 4Mb Ram.
  45. 2 IDE HDrives (1.275G and 575Mb).
  46. Emplant Deluxe running System 7.5.1 and MS-Dos 6.22.
  47. Quad Speed SCSI-2 CD-Rom.
